This issue can arise from different causes:  The Taxes in roomMaster are not set up properly or the Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay on the rate code is not set up properly/


Tax Issue:


Room revenue accounts in roomMaster must have only valid tax accounts attached. If a tax account that is not configured is attached to a room revenue account, then any rates associated with that revenue account will display as Unavailable in iQ-WebBook.


Go to Setup -> Configuration -> Guest Ledger -> Account Codes and select Account 100, which is the default room revenue account. Once the account is open, go to the Tax Options tab and ensure that only validly configured tax accounts are attached. This means that the tax account must have a rate attached. If any taxes are attached that are not configured, simply uncheck it.



If you are unsure whether the tax account was set up properly, go to the tax account in question: Setup -> Configuration - Guest Ledger - . Account Codes. The tax account codes are 105 through 109.


Once you have open the account, go to the  Tax Information tab and examine the settings. If there is no information regarding tax amounts, then the account has not been configured. and should not be attached to the room revenue account until it is confiured. Otherwise, it can cause the rates and inventory to show as unavailable in iQ-WebBook,




Length of Stay Issue:

The rate codes for IQWB must have minimum and maximum nights stay selected. The defaults are 1 and 28 as shown below, but you can set a longer maximum stay. 


Go to Setup -> Rates Management - > Setup Rate Codes, select the rate code in question and go to the Restrictions tab.


Most likely the settings under Global Stay Restrictions (iQ-WebBook/iQ-WorldLink) are set to 0 for both Minimum Nights Stay and Maximum Nights Stay. Change them to 1 and 28 as shown below.



Be sure to reload the Sellable Products via iQ-WorldLink to ensure that the default settings are pushed to iQ-WebBook.



If for any reason that does not work, you can manually edit the entry in the IQWB Control Panel. Go to Configuration and edit the Default Max Days.
