You do not need the workstation to run as "Administrator" - however, the user that you do use must have certain access rights.   Follow these steps when setting up a workstation.

You need that user to have full access to certain directories on the system:

1.The roomMaster folder and all sub directories
2.The Windows Temp folder
3.The temp folder assigned to that user (G oto Windows Explorer and type %TEMP% for the folder name and it will bring you there)
4.Full access to the LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\InnQuest Software key and all child entries
5.That you run roomMaster once under Administrator and that the activeis.exe is fully installed.

For your interfaces (EPI, iQ-WorldLink, POS Print Manager, etc) - those should be run on the main server using the Administrator account.

Setting access rights to Windows Temp Folder

1.Open My Computer
2.Navigate to the Windows Temp Folder.  (using %TEMP% as a file name will navigate quickly to it)
3.Right-click on folder / Properties / Security
4.Locate the Windows User you are using (as stated in error message) and Edit
5.User must have Modify, Read & Execute, Read, Write set to Allow

Excluding roomMaster from Windows Firewall

In terms of firewall - you can simply put rw5main.exe as a program in your Firewall exceptions so that it has no issues with any ports.

Excluding roomMaster from Virus Scanning (speed)

If this is for Standard or Enterprise Edition, also add *.TPS, *.TPR and *.DAT to exclude these file types from Virus scanning on all workstations.
